Arquiled supports ISCTE-LoRaLAB based on CISCO technology

LoRaLAB, the Long-Range Low-Power wireless technology development laboratory, headquartered at ISCTE-IUL, is a radiofrequency technology application development, for communications over long distances with minimal energy consumption and enables application to a wide range of IoT solutions.

In this partnership with ISCTE, Arquiled has developed a LoRa communications module to control intelligent luminaires associated with the ECCOS CITY remote management system.

Each luminaire has its own Low Power WAN (LPWAN) communications module in LoRa WAN™ replacing traditional GSM-based communications to control luminaires individually or in a group.

The second phase of the project will be based on the development of sensing.

ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, abbreviated ISCTE-IUL, is a Portuguese public university located in the city centre of Lisbon.

LoRaWAN™ is a registered mark of LoRa Alliance.
