LED Street Lighting - for a more efficient energy management

The project to replace traditional street lighting by LED technology, in the municipality of Condeixa-a-Nova, is part of the energy efficiency plan. 

This upgrade project, worth 1.8 million euros, extends to the entire municipality and is based on an energy saving model, with no cost to the municipality (ESCo model). According to Nuno Moita, mayor of Condeixa-a-Nova, "this investment will be rewarded over the next 12 years with the value of economic savings that the municipality will collect as a result of the replacement of street lighting fixtures”. 

Of the total number of 5 101 light points, 4 527 are Sculptor roadway luminaires and 554 are urban luminaires Octans, Oriont, and Hamlet historic luminaires.
