Upgrading of Polis Leiria pathway street lighting to LED Technology
ARQUILED’s integrated management system for the remote control of public lighting networks makes a significant contribution to reducing energy consumption, cutting maintenance costs and improving the reliability of lighting installations.
Through an easy and intuitive web-based platform, it is possible to control and manage devices such as luminaires, either individually or in clusters, adapting energy-saving schemes according to the needs of the project.
This integrated management solution for public lighting networks provides detailed information on the lighting system’s activity, facilitating and maximizing its monitoring and management. The modular system can be progressively expanded according to the needs of the public lighting network.
ARQUILED offers a range of lighting control systems that are adaptable and scalable to the different needs of street lighting projects.
Each system is designed according to the infrastructure needs of municipalities and can include solutions integrated into the luminaires or external devices (Plug n’ Play type) that can be easily attached to the luminaires.

We are pioneers in Europe in the implementation of smart cities, having been chosen to develop the first Portuguese Smart City in Évora.
We develop innovative and sustainable solutions for city management, based on the preservation of essential resources such as energy and water.
We design, engineer and control the entire process from our factory in Mora, Alentejo, and almost all municipalities in Portugal are equipped with our street lighting solutions.

This project will function as a highway, on top of which we can later place other [vehicles] to provide new services to the city. It is an infrastructure that will allow us to start acting in anticipation of events.
We were finally able to light up all the streets in the municipality again and address one of the greatest desires of the population, increasing the sense of security in public spaces, with an innovative, cost-effective and more environmentally friendly solution (…) allowing a significant reduction in the monthly energy bill.
These measures aim to reduce energy consumption, but also improve the quality and the municipality’s ability to interact with public spaces.
